How to retrieve the license key for the upgrade order?

While purchasing the upgrade to version 2.x you need to deliver the old version 1.x license key in our order form. If you don’t find it within your records or if you are maintaining different licenses, here are the steps you need to follow to retrieve the license key from your system.

  1. Start Passolo and go to ToolsAdd-ins
  2. Go to the Translation tab and select the DeepL Pro API, then click on Setup
  3. Go to the License tab, then click on the Product Activation link
  4. In the upcoming dialog click Save License
  5. Save the license file to a folder
  6. Open the saved license file with a text editor like Notepad
  7. Copy the content of the <EncryptedLicenseKey> XML element and attach it to your order
